My main gripe with this tube ad was the the addition of "life's" prior to "pains". The possessive apostrophe meant (to me anyway) that there had to be a more concise way to say the same thing. 

And yes, I can see the parallels between the length of a journey made standing up and the phrasing of the "pain" Panadol can't handle. But I can't help wondering if your average commuter would even get to the third syllable of "Standing Up. The. Whole. Journey"...

Tube ads are unique in that your audience actually has time to look at and study the copy. Even if you're only peddling paracetamol, it's important to get it right...
